Why did you decide to be a part of the MofO Mashup?

Showing the love and support for the loss of an amazing person, Whitney Fleming, for the entire Fleming family is what makes this event special and meaningful. Whitney was one of those people you never forget due to her genuine heart and shining personality. Once I learned this event was for this cause, I immediately wanted to be very involved. Bringing the local community together to help others has always been one of my biggest passions, and this time it definitely holds a very dear place to my heart.

What would you like people to know about your company?

Samuel Gordon Jewelers is a four generation, family owned, independent jewelry store in Oklahoma City. Founded in 1904, the business has evolved into a 12,000 square foot showroom of wedding rings, fashion jewelry and fine timepieces. Like an angry unicorn, the iPad 2 is a rare beast. Coveted by everyone and owned by a few, the iPad 2 continues to whip up a must-have frenzy wherever it goes.

However, us MOFO’s want YOU to have one.

If you go to AMAOKC on Thursday 14th April to see Microsoft’s cyborg anthropologist talk about marketing and video games and then go to our Mashup in the evening then you could very well be walking away with an iPad 2!

We want the MOFO Mashup to be huge.  We mean really huge.  We want Iguana to be packed full of people having a great time.  More importantly, the more people we have at the Mashup, the more money we’ll raise for Whitney’s family.

But, to do this we need your help.  We want to push as many people to register for this event as possible (it’s free, don’t worry!).  So, here’s the deal.

Why did you decide to be a part of the MofO Mashup?

When I was contacted to be a part of the MofO Mashup and told that the proceeds were going to benefit Whitney Fleming’s husband and sons, I knew I had to be a part of it. Whitney was a dear friend, she helped get the Fat Daddy Sweets name out there, and she is deeply missed.

What would you like people to know about Fat Daddy Sweets?

Fat Daddy Sweets started as a small business just to bring in some extra money, but quickly transformed into a passion and a desire to nourish local sweet tooths through handmade artisan chocolates.  We strive to give our customers an extreme chocolate experience.  There is nothing like the look on a customers face when they try one of our  extreme chocolates for the first time, that is why we do this.

Why did you decide to be a part of the MofO Mashup?

It was a no-brainer for us. We’re always looking for additional ways to collaborate with creative minds and the fact that it’s a fundraiser for Whitney Fleming’s family is icing on the cake.

What would you like people to know about OECU?

Anybody interested in keeping their money local and supporting the local community should check us out. We are a full service financial co-op  and open to anyone who lives or works in the Oklahoma City metro area.
